Does the layer name for the bus bar contain the word JUMPER? If so, the from/to list ignores it. The software is programmed not to include a wire layer with the word jumper in its name when it creates a from/to list so non-wire entities don't appear in a list of wires that need to be connected.

Some of us use a wire layer layer called JumperBar to represent the metal jumpers between terminal blocks, which are used to create a bus.

If your busbar is actually a busbar, like the Weidmuller type that you snap breakers to, then add it the the Create/Edit Wiretype list as JumperBar and it will not appear in the wire from/to list, but it will carry a wire number across and through to downstream devices. I can't imagine actually wanting to see a non-wire on a wire list.

How you show the connection will depend on your Bus Bar system..

If the Bus Bar is an actual copper/brass bar with terminals, you could create blocks with just the wire connection and terminal number if required.

You would need a parent and child block for each direction (X1, X2, X4 & X8). Using child blocks allow you to set the intervals to suit the connections.

If you add graphics and the CAT/MFG attributes, you can also use them for bolt on taps of various types.

For a Bus Bar made up of Terminals with a Jumper Bar, just use a terminal block and jumper it to the other terminals in the Bus Bar.

Either way will allow you to number the wires coming off individually (if required) and will also show up on the reports as you require.
