Drawing File Path Change

I am wondering if there is a way to easily change the path that a project is looking for a drawing?

Let's say some drawings are in a folder named "Main Panel 01" and I want to change that folder name to "Main Panel CP-25-0216".

The project manager will say it can't find the drawing anymore.  Which makes sense because I am changing the file path, but to my knowledge there doesn't seem to be anyway to update the path without just removing the drawing file from the project and re adding it.

There's no way to do this in the project manager. Remove/readd the drawing or edit the wdp-file in a text editor.

I was trying to edit the wdp-file, and it wasn't reading the file still. I don't know if I was missing something, but I was changing the line with the red line in the image below than saving the file and it still won't see the drawing.

I tried to close the project and reopen it and still didn't see the drawing.

Is it one of those that need you to close autocad and restart the software for it to take effect.

Will the error message about not finding the file contain the correct path?

And yes, you must reload the project.

The file path doesn't update in the error message.

I was reloading the project after activating a different project. Also tried closing it and reopening it from the project manager.

After testing for a little bit turns out you have to close AutoCad and reopen the software for it to work.
