If anyone can help me out to fix this, since I went to ACADE 2017 I can not make intersection stay checked on, it will stay on for almost half an hour and turns off again. Thank you.

Actually, this is a long-standing issue with Vanilla ACAD. It will turn off the Intersect snap during certain operations because there is literally too much information for the software to think about. I have experienced it for several years, in every ACAD product I've used (that's based on Vanilla).

If you operate with the text window open (F2), you'll actually see when ACAD kills Intersect snap and why: "too many objects selected for INTERSECT"

You'll see this occur seemingly at random, but really IMO it's usually during scripts or automatic commands that open a drawing and select everything in it. Or maybe if you want to trim/extend lines (not wires) and choose ALL as the cutting objects.

This isn't a fixable thing, I think. All you can do is turn it back on.

Hi.

Yes, there are some commands in AutoCAD Electrical that doesn't perfectly reset the OSNAP settings. I don't have a list, but here's a suggestion on what you can do.

Depending on what version of AutoCAD you have, the is a system variable monitor, that can warn you when the osnap settings have changed from what you want them to be with a balloon.

Open the OSNAP settings, and set them to your preferred way.

Then run the command SYSVARMONITOR, and add OSMODE to the list. Here, you can enable a balloon that shows you when your OSMODE has changed to something other than what you prefer.

If you manage to find out what command that changes the OSMODE, please report it here!
