Hi there,

You might have a little challenge to find ready made AutoCAD Electrical blocks outside of ACE.  But a lot of Mfg. like Allen Bradley, Square D, Phoenix Contact, Wago, etc. provide 2D drawings, often in a format that can be copied into ACE.  Then you can build the symbol with the ACE features you want.  ACE comes with a good little tutorial on how to build dynamic / smart symbols.

There a some good forms out there just for CAD bits and pieces, here are a couple:

http://www.cadtutor.net/

And if you enter a good catalog number on this page it will show you the option to download the drawing if one is available

Good luck

Please mark as a solution if this works for you, kudos are always welcome

Your missing the gold mine

http://www.eplandata.de/portal/

the Eplan parts data portal now generates parts in dwg/dxf format  only these manufactures are available !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is what you get when you actually engage with component manufactures

I'm not impressed with the DWG/DXF data available on that data portal. Have a look at weidmuller:

7 (!!!) Terminals available with DXF-data, and 2219 (????) CABLES with DXF-data?!?!

So, I prefer downloading directly from the manufacturers web site 🙂
