Delete Signal Codes

 Hello,

I am trying to setup a new generic template for use in certain new projects. In doing this some Signal Codes were created that shouldn't have been. I don't want these used at all/ever. But I cannot find a way to delete them from the list. I'm assuming there has to be a way to edit the Signal code List but I cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Assuming that you mean the list of default codes to choose from, it is in a document called WDSRCDST.WDD. I don't remember where this is kept by default, but if you do a search on your system it should turn right up.

I found that file but my source and destination codes were not in there. The attached image shows what I'm trying to edit.

There was no attachment. But, if you started this project from one that existed before, it's probably getting the signal codes from there. Have you tried to rebuild the scratch database? AEREBUILDDB at the command line.

Jim,
I did start this from an existing one but the AEREBUILDDB hasn't removed the unwanted source and destination codes. I've tried the attachment again, not sure why my attachments are not going through.
If I try to attach a source arrow and click on project the list that comes up is what I'm trying to edit.

Let's back up a step or two. What exactly are you working with? In your OP you said 'generic template', but are you making a template project? Or a drawing template (.dwt file)?

Also, still no image.

In order to attach images, you can't use the 'quick reply' button. You have to hit the 'reply' button and then you'll see a place specifically for adding attachments. Usually when people here can't get their attachments to post it's because they're trying to paste it into the quick reply box.
