Copied Project

Where do I look to find out if a project has been copied and from what Project it was copied from in AuotCAD Electrical?

Also, If you close a project that was copied from, will it affect projects that copied from it?

Unless you were the one to copy the project, there is not much to indicate it was copied or which project it was copied from.

The only way would be to look at any project/dwg descriptions in the hope that they haven't been changed yet.

As for closing the original project, there is no link between them once the command finishes. The Copy Project command does exactly that. It copies all the specified files to a new location you select, allows you to change file names and other sundry settings. Finally it removes links to any dwgs that were not copied in the project. Once that is done, there is no further interaction between the two project unless you create it.
