Do you mean that the Properties palette is already open, but hidden?

Ctrl+1 will open it, if it's closed.

No, the drawing properties inside of your drawing. In your title block. Project manager>(maximize active project) right click on active project>properties>drawing properties. I found that if I type in ACED it will come up ACED being short for ACEDRAWINGPROPS.

Entering 'ACED' at the command line will be the only other alternative from using the mouse that doesn't require you to create a LISP macro or change your pgp file.

Personally, I think a 4-character command call that you can type in from your left hand's normal position (meaning the right hand never leaves the mouse), is an ideal solution anyway. I have plenty of command calls in my macros that are that long.
