Bill of Materials Duplicate Instances

So, one issue we are facing with new engineers joining our team is there are duplicate components now on some of our projects.  This is common with terminal blocks mostly. Is there a way to manage / look through duplicate components and reassign them to their proper numbers. I have not found any commands other than the resequence item number command.  Currently, I am generating a report then exporting it to excel, and doing some conditional formatting in excel. However, I still need to dig through the project and update all of the components one by one.

Do you get this problem with the panel BOM only, or with the schematic BOM as well?

For other components than terminals, do you get two lines with the same information?

Then, it sounds like the schematic terminals isn't connected to the panel terminals with the LINKTERM attribute/xdata.

If you delete the pane terminals and insert them again, will duplication disappear then?

So this did not work I am going to try using an interactive BOM and jump to the duplicates to see if there is an issue with the parent child components. I have 3 drawings that were copied over from a reference and that seems to be where the duplicates are coming from. I did a retag and update drawing wide that got rid of a lot of duplicates. My guess is since the page numbers are different the copy did not work as intended.

If you'd like some help figuring this out, let me know. I'd need a copy of the project then...

I appreciate that. However, I probably should learn how to do this.
