AutoCAD Electrical 2026 can not screate .scr script file

Hello All,

I am experiencing quite a blocking behaviour from my AutoCAD Electrical 2026 and I could not find any solution online for it.

When I try to make Wire Sequence Update throughout the Project, I am getting the following message

Update other drawings_ACADE.png

When I click OK, the process is not performed and the following message appears:

CouldNotCreateScript.png

Do you know how I can solve the issue? I have seen that it occurs when I try to perform any task throughout the whole Project (e.g. Surf command), and it gets very annoying.

Is this issue project-specific or throughout AutoCAD Electrical? Is your project local on your computer, or are you trying to access it from a network location?
Can you try to check if you are seeing the same issue on the demo projects that come with the AutoCAD Electrical installation?

Hello All,

I managed to solve the issue thanks to Copilot. The Antivirus software of my company was blocking the creation and execution of .scr files by AutoCAD Electrical 2026. We changed then the settings of the Antivirus software and the problem was solved.
