AutoCAD Electrical 2021 Migrate Settings from Previous Version

How do I properly migrate my settings from AutoCAD Electrical 2020 to AutoCAD Electrical 2021? I don't see the "Migrate from Previous Year" that everyone says should be available in the windows start menu. When installing that box was checked, but I was not prompted past that to specific to migrate from ACADE 2020.

What's the proper way/recommendations for installing a new version/year of AutoCAD Electrical? It seems like the responses for migrating settings always default to how generic AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT is done, but from my understanding ACADE is different and cannot be done the same way.

Any feedback or potential solutions are greatly appreciated! 🙂

If they are installed on the same computer, you should be able to select this:2020-03-31_11-01-32.pngct thi

What about system variables? Does any of this bring system variable settings over? Or do you need to use something else to get those?

So.. AutoCAD Electrical is one of those 😄

I'm a bit late to this but thank you Trond for this information. I'd always stayed away from the Migrate utility as I assumed it was the Content Migration and I didn't want to convert my databases to SQL. I am currently upgrading our install from 2020 to 2024 and this has helped a lot. 🙂
