autocad electric license

Hi everyone, (maybe it's a stupid question... I'm new to this forum, even I started with autocad electrical in DOS... ) I would like to understand how to get a regular license for electrical design and automation. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks

You buy a subscription to AutoCAD from Autodesk. AutoCAD includes all the verticals, such as AutoCAD Electrical. AcadE is a separate installation that you will download and install once you have access to the license.

Welcome to the forum!  As @rhesusminus mentioned, you can get this directly from the Autodesk website, HERE.  This page shows all of the available toolsets that can be used with AutoCAD and what subscription options are available.

sorry, i don't speak/write english well (i use translator most of the time), i didn't understand.... about the lies. About autocad 11 or 12 in DOS? It was, as i remember, the year 1987/1989 and i had that version.

HERE is the Release history of AutoCAD as reported by Wikipedia.  AutoCAD Electrical came much later, early 2000's I believe.

This information was compiled by Wikipedia and not Autodesk, I cannot guarantee it is completely accurate.  The first version I used was 9, in 1989.
