Set Corridor Targets Efficiently

Set Corridor Targets Efficiently

If a subassembly is moved to a different attachment point, all associated targets are lost. It would be really nice to maintain all associated targets when moving things around in my assembly.

When a corridor has dozens of regions using common subassembly (i.e. Guardrail), it is necessary to manually click through each region to set the same guardrail targets, over and over, hoping that you don't miss one. I would like to be able to batch select ALL of common subassemblies (i.e. Guardrail) in the corridor and batch set the target properties.

Especially for corridor surface targets such as rock surface.

Tracking internally as CIVIL-38444.  We're working on some enhancements to the corridor targeting workflow. This idea aligns nicely with that work and I'll have more to share soon.

This can be accomplished with the new target mapping functionality in Civil 3D 2023.1
