Widening entities

In some cases, when we define a widening method, the widened segment is drawn with "line", not "spiral".

Also, sometimes the length of the lines are not appropriate, since they are too long.

Is there a way that the user could control the entity type to use in widening or to control the maximum length of line entities?

There is a setting that controls the number of lines drawn during widening, and if it's a line or curve. No setting for maximum length. You'll find this setting in the settings tab, alignment, commands, and widening options.
