SAC: superelevation value to double.

Hi.

Is there any fast way to get the SuperElevation (input parameter "UseSuperelevation" which is a Superelevation type) to a double var?

My input parameter is:

UseSuperElevation (Superelevation type) =  LeftOutsideLane

Do I have to do this?:

IF(UseSuperElevation=LeftOutsideShoulder,SE.LeftSO,IF(UseSuperElevation=LeftOutsideLane,SE.LeftLO,........................................

Thanks in advance.

That is the way I do it. I wasn't able to find an easier way that I wanted to think about.

Now that I do think abou it you could use an auxiliary point and then do the math from the reference point to get the decimal value. So if P1 was the reference point something like this:

(AP1.Elevation-P1.Elevation)/(AP1.Offset-P1.Offset)

I might have my order wrong on operations.
