FATAL ERROR messages

I am getting the following error when using the shift select option. I have been using this computer and application since January and am just now getting the error message. Anyone seen this before. Error message is Fatal Error: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at fdaaa06dh. Thanks

Have you cleaned out the temp folder lately? Sometimes this can help with instability issues.

If that doesn't help, you could try a Reset of User Settings.

Please be aware that it does what it says and Resets things back to "default settings" and any customization you may have would need to be setup following a reset..

Sure, OPTIONS > Files Tab > Temporary Drawing File Location >

Win 7 default location is C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp\

Another test before a reset.

Try launching C3d  using one of the default icons which uses a default profile.

(This assumes you use something other than a default user profile).

Still crash when using shift/select?

Hi,

>> I am getting the following error when using the shift select option.

Just in one specific drawing?

Can you try to create a new drawing, based on an original Civil 3D template, draw 1 line, now select line one and then press and hold <SHIFT> and click again the selected line ... crashing again?

>> since January and am just now getting the error message

What changed on your system? Any updates, new graphic card driver, new software installed ...?

Thanks for all the help. It seems like it may have been one drawing. So far not having any problems. Did not make any changes but will try deleting the temp file if I get the error again.
