Just wanted to make a quick post on a fix that I found for when object snaps stop using the label to pick the node snap.
I typically use a label style that displays Number, Elevation and Description. Under this style we can pick anywhere near the label to get the node snap for the marker itself. I then have a style that doesn't have the elevation shown for jobs not using vertical. Under this style, I am unable to hover on the label to have it detect the node snap. Switching it back to the NED style allows me to pick it again.
I wonder if it would help if you make the Elevation component visible, but give it a height that is so small that you don't see it.
William,
Can you post a drawing that displays this problem with the two different Label Styles?

I'm thinking I would delete the style and recreate it from the NED style. Sometime C3D can be quirky.....

As you can see in the image below, the label styles are different and with the line command active, I get two different options. On the left I can pick the node, on the right, it just tells me its info.
William,
Trying to re-create your observation. I am unable. When I attempt to draw a line using the Transparent Command "Point Object", the first click will grab a point label, but then it asks to "Specify Opposite Corner". I'm using C3D 2018, 2018.2 Update.

William,
Further fumblings. When I changed "Prompt for 3D Points" to "True", then I was able to draw from Node to "Insert" by hovering over the labels. But just once. Then it reverted back to "Specify opposite corner:"

And then it worked. 3 different Point Styles and 4 different Label Styles. No idea what I did to make it start snapping to the node by clicking on the label.

When a node osnap doesn't work on the label. I start using the 'PO (Point Object) transparent command.

Seem to remember a similar instance of this were I had two different blocks (desc key) being use by a different point styles and the main culprit was the block being used. When I recreated the block for that errant style it worked as expected.

Hi Allen,
I tried all three ways to use the Point Object Transparent Command -- Ribbon Menu, Transparent Command Toolbar, and typing 'PO in the Command Line. I didn't see any difference between them.
