Hi!
I´m looking for a solution to export/import list definitions and classification definitions.
In order to work with lists efficiently, you must be able to handle these outside the application eg in excel or in another database.
Is this something that is set up on autodesk to do list, or must we use third-party developers?
Is there anyone that have a solution for this?
Regards Patric
I have used the tools over at JTB World for this in the past with success, as a plus, they are very inexpensive.
http://jtbworld.com/classification-definition-tools I believe this one is only $10 U.S.
And this one is free.
Thanks for the information.
I tried http://jtbworld.com/adtlistdefinition.
How can that tool be used ? ACA recognizes neither of the commands that tool is supposed to add.
I tried it on ACA 2018 and ACA 2014, and neither worked. I suspect that it has not been updated since it was originally written for ADT 2007. It may have run in ACA 2008 and 2009, but would need to be recompiled for later versions, due to the file format change.
The download page does say "For newer versions please contact us." You might try contacting them.
I e-mailed them. No one else has requested it to be updated. Doing so costs less than 200 €.
Updating it may be very easy if one knows how. Install e decompiler to access the dll’s source code and look at what could be the problem. Maybe ask for help in the API forum.
