Custom hatch patterns not displaying

Hello.

I am experiencing issues with some hatch patterns.

Custom hatch patterns are no longer showing up.  I have used them before with no issue but now they are not working.  I can access a file in which I have used them before but can not edit them.  I checked to make sure the path was still good, it was.  and I also deleted and recopied them into the correct director, with no luck.

Please help.  I need them to be working for a presentation tomorrow.

Thanks.

Hatch pattern definitions are not stored in the drawing file - in order to be able to edit a hatch, AutoCAD has to be able to find the pattern file.

I am not exactly sure what you did when you made "sure the path was still good".  In addition to verifying that the necessary file(s) are on your computer, you also need to verify that the folder in which they are stored is part of the AutoCAD Support File Search Path.  Do so by opening the Options dialog, going to the Files tab and expanding the top node (Support File Search Path).  Is the folder listed there?  While in the Options dialog, you may also want to make note of what Profile is set current; that is listed in the upper left corner of the dialog.  Is this the Profile you usually use?  If not, you may want to go to the Profiles tab and set your usual Profile current.  That Profile may already have the folder that has your custom PAT files in the Support File Search Path.

Showing up where? Post a screenshot of where you are looking please?
And how are you then accessing them to edit them? Is that folder locked to your Windows Log-in from editing?

I said the path was good to save myself some time, and hopefully yours.
But you apparently didn't get this gist.

File containing the hatch patterns is still in the Support file search path
and my profile is as always.

Any out side the box ideas, David?

Sorry, they are not appearing on screen.  I select an internal point, nothing shows in preview or once accepted.  I have played with scale.  It is not that.

If you start the HATCH command, are your custom hatches showing on the Hatch Creation contextual ribbon tab, on the Pattern panel?  If not, then there is a problem with the search path or a problem with the files themselves.  Have you tried restarting the program?  Have you tried rebooting the computer?

If the restart/reboot does not help, can you attach one of the PAT files that is not showing up in the ribbon for someone here to see if it works on her or his machine?
