anonymous *U block editing

Is it possible to edit an anonymous *U block? I have some *U blocks in typical details that came from the Detail Component Manager, specifically CMU blocks. For some reason the grout hatch in the block has changed in 2020 and I need to fix it. I don't want to explode the blocks to do so and REDEIT will not open the block so I can edit it. Any suggestions?

Strange, I am not having that issue here, in ACA 2020.  I placed a stack of 3 Core CMU, 8" X 8"X 16" CMU, which came in as *U9 block references.  I was able to REFEDIT one of those, change the hatch pattern and save the changes.

I used the OBSCURE tool on three of them, generating new anonymous blocks for those, and those were still able to be REFEDITed.

Thanks for the help. Apparently I was actually using bedit when double clicking on the block. REFEDIT worked.
