ACAD.PAT

We used to have a customized ACAD.PAT file. When we moved up to ADT2006,
the program uses the old default ACAD.PAT file. I have searched my computer
for ALL ACAD.PAT files, and changed them, but still when I use HATCH or
BHATCH the default file shows up. I can go to the designcenter and load the
customized file. When I do this, the customized ACAD.PAT file comes up in
the predefined patterns, but ONLY if I use the ACDCHATCHBHATCH command. How
can I customize the generic file so that the customized ACAD.PAT file list
comes up as predefined styles? Where is BHATCH searching for the ACAD.PAT
file?

If I remember correctly autocad uses the first pat file it finds in the path. Either delete or rename other pat files, maybe to xxx files or move your prefered pat file to the top of the path list.

I thought of that, so I did a search and found ALL ACAD.PAT files, and
modified each one to try and find wich one was being used. It seems to be
NONE of them, as none of my modifications came through.
Hmmmmmmmm......Interesting?
