Xrefs Not Lining up

I am trying to overlay multiple different .dwg files into another file as a collective. There is an issue with one of the files, however. When I overlay the file into the collective file, it is far from alignment with the rest of the drawings. When I open that particular file and overlay one of the files inside of it, it aligns perfectly. When I set the BASE command in each file, the base is 0,0,0. When I overlay the file, I set the location to 0,0,0. But the file won't set in the correct location. I'd move the Xref on its own, but all of the files in the collective file slow down the program so much so that I can't see where I'm moving it too and must wait for the program to catch up before seeing where it is set. What are suggestions to solve my issue?

Well, I found my solution. There are multiple files with very similar names changing only at the very end. I had opened the wrong file, the one that I was not trying to overlay, when I was checking the BASE command. Upon opening the correct file, I found that the BASE was indeed offset. I have now corrected this and my documents are fine.
