Workflow for small residential projects

Just looking for a little direction. I feel pretty comfortable with the ACA software at this point in terms of my ability to create a full set of drawings, with the exception of how to deal with working on different plan views. In the software that I've used my whole life, the entire drawing was done in one file with several layout tabs for paper space and I would work on different plan views by toggling layer sets, i.e. "Floor Plan", "Foundation Plan", etc.

What is the most logical way to design small residential plans? I'm the only person that will be working on them, it's not like I will be a part of a team. I just became familiar with Project Navigator within the last few days. Would I set up each plan view as a construct such as "Floor Plan", "Foundation Plan", etc?  Or would it make more sense to set these views up through layer states or layer filters? I've done a LOT of searching on the subject and have done a few online courses so far but haven't found anything that addresses this specifically. I appreciate any advice.

See this link.  No matter what size project you have, if there's more than one level, there should be more than one ACA drawing, at least one construct per level. The best way to manage levels is to use the project navigator.
