Wood Floor System Schedule?

Hello all!

My organization is trying to create a schedule of sorts, or a way to take off data for materials being used as projects  one of which is a floor system with joists and 3/4" sub floor + 3/4" finished floor. I see that there's a slab object that matches this, but I'm  wondering if theres any way to automatically extract some data from the object with regards to the area (Square footage) for the flooring and linear footage for the boards used on the perimeter...I know I can draw a rectangle but was hoping there was a more streamlined way if possible. Thanks in advance.

I am not a schedule guru by any stretch but the attached sample might be helpful.  See property set definitions as a start.

For some reason, when I go to extended data on the properties of my slab object, there's no option to add property sets? Any idea where I may have gone wrong?

You would need to create a propertyset definition that applies to slabs. you can open the file I sent, goto stylemanager and copy the property set definition from the file I sent and paste it into yours.
