Walls not showing up while drawing

I have tried a few things as suggested for graphics, cut planes and heights but nothing has helped me. When I go to draw a wall with the WALLADD command I cannot see the wall as I am drawing, video for reference. Using ACAD Arch 2023.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Your video shows you drawing 4-walls and they remain visible. So...?

As I am drawing them I can't see the wall so I don't know which side the justification is on visually.

I see what you mean: which variable is tagged as not set correctly in your SYSVARMONITOR command pop-up by chance?

and/or in OPTIONS command

Thanks for the reply, these are the two settings as they were when I pulled them up.

Interesting.

What Display Configuration do you have set current?

I see the outline of the Wall Components when drawing Walls with the out-of-the-box (US Imperial) Medium Detail or High Detail Display Configurations set current.  I only see the justification line when the Low Detail Display Configuration is set current.

So I am assuming that the Shrink Wrap component is not used when placing Walls, and if your active Display Representation for Walls does not show the Boundary components (either because they are turned off, or the display is By Material, and in the active Display Representation for the assigned Material Definitions, the Plan Linework component is turned off), then you will not get a preview of the components as you place a Wall.

I think that is the issue. When I switch them I can see the walls as a I draw. We have a standard one for our office that I believe is based off of the medium or low detail. I purged them down at one point because someone created 10 of them and no one could understand why they couldn't see their ceilings so I had simplified it to one. I am going to compare them side by side to see what setting it is. Thank you for figuring this out!
