Two different dimensions in Paperspace

Trying dimension my model in paperspace and I am having difficulty getting the model dimension.

I get the paper dimension using any of the icons like "dimlinear"

I get the correct model dimension if I manually type in "dim" command.

See attached - Incredibly frustrating.

Any  help greatly appreciated.

Thanks kindly.

Dimension in paperspace is not recommended when using AutoCAD Architecture.  Use the project navigator with its capacity to manage levels, constructs, elements, views, and sheets. AEC dimensions have their own unique qualities. Dimensions belong in model space views.

If you must use paper space dimensions, limit those to dimensioning Autocad objects.  They also must be created by using object snap.
