Title Block Attributes not editable

Hello,  I'm trying to edit a title block that I made with attributes.  However, when I load it into paperspace and try to change the attributes, I only have the option to change the whole block.  When I double click on the attribute I want to change, the "Edit Block Definition" pops up and that makes changes to the block on my other layouts as well.  It doesn't allow me to only change the attribute on the sheet on I currently on.  I re-made my block and assured they have attributes, but the same thing happened.  Thanks for your help!

Are you inserting the Title Block as a block in your sheet file, or are you externally referencing it?  You will not have access to attributes if you are externally referencing it.

If you are inserting it as a block, and you the original block insertion did not have attributes, are you certain you have redefined the block in the drawing to have attributes?  If so, existing instances of the block will not automatically "grow" attributes.  Use the ATTSYNC command to force existing instances to pick up the attributes now associated with the redefined block definition.

Thanks for replying. I am inserting it as a block and it had attributes
before I inserted it. The attributes do not work once I inserted it
though.
I'm sorry, I don't understand how ATTSYNC works. It asks me to enter an
option and I don't know what it's asking for.

Was there a block definition of the same name (without attributes) in the target file before you inserted it?  If so, and the the block was not redefined as part of the insertion process, you will just be adding a copy of the block definition that was already there.

As @pendean mentioned, attaching the files on which you are working (or stripped-down sample files which give you the same results, if there is content in the files that should not be available to the public) will make sorting out what the issue is, and how to resolve it, much easier.

Your titleblock definition is most probably nested into another block.  As @David_W_Koch wrote, don't create a block inside a drawing with the same name. This is the most likely cause of the nested block.
