Strange symbols appearing in model space

I have a user experiencing an issue that I've never seen before. Let me preface this by saying our office mostly uses Revit and rarely uses AutoCAD Arch - which is why I have no clue how to fix this. A strange symbol has been appearing in model space in one of her files. She has tried closing the file and reopening, auditing, turning off hatches..... They don't plot and they aren't selectable. Other files aren't having this same issue and I don't even know where to start with this one. I did just install 16 on her computer yesterday but this is the only file acting up.

2014 version. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Not sure where this symbol comes from.

Have you tried W-block command to another file?

You probably inadvertently turned on the autoconstrain features.  Check the Parametric ribbon tab. Turn off "AutoConstrain".  Then use the same tab to select and delete the constraints if they were unintended.  If you just want to not see them, select "Hide Constraints."
