Select file window won't close

So this is a weird issue, this window popped up and won't close.

When I tried closing it it opens up again, with the folder location of A360 driveAutocad.PNG.

there is no end to it. Unfortunately I have unsaved work in the background which I would like to access and save.

Any idea why this is happening.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting your question here in the community. The screenshot displays the Buzzsaw Location Shortcuts. Do you have a Buzzsaw account set up, and do you use it to host/access your projects?

If you navigate to a drawing file via this dialog box, can you open another drawing file?

Does another dialog box pop up to replace this one after the file opens?

I should have mentioned this before!

The reason I took a screenshot with that file is because of the privacy requirements of my employer. Please Ignore the shortcuts.

I had to force-close AutoCAD to get around the problem, lost ton of data in process. Bad bad week!!!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for the clarification. I'm sorry to hear that you had to force quit the program and lost your work in the process.

Has the issue happened again since? Or was it just the one time?

Hasn't happened since last week.

Hopefully it was a one time thing.

I am thinking it probably some sort of overload on my processor caused it. I just wish there was an option to send out an automatic crash report via. AutoCAD

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm glad to hear it's only happened once, and hope it doesn't occur again. If you're thinking it's a performance/system issue, you might find the tips in this article helpful for optimizing AutoCAD performance on a Windows system.
