Section Callout Blocks -

Hi-

I recently installed the AutoCAD Architecture 2018 and the callouts have changed from the previous 'AutoCAD'. The dynamic/ annotative section block is now replaced by new callouts in the tool palate.

Please reference images - in image 'section 1 & section 2' it shows the new callouts in AutoCAD Architecture, image titled 'section 3' is the previous section callout.

I don't understand how to manage the scales with the new callouts, they don't appear to be dynamic or annotative and seem to be scaled only for paperspace. In model, the arrow on the section key is very small no matter what i set the scale to.

Any thoughts on how to correct this? i am drawing in 2D style sections/ elevations.

Hi, its currently set at 1:25 in model, but regardless of whether its set at 1:1 or 1:25 the callouts do not scale appropriately. They appear to work only when applied to paper space, not model.

Hard to say without seeing a file, but it looks like the imperial arrow family got mixed into a metric drawing.  If you use the SCALE command and scale it up 25.4 times, using its insertion point as the base, does it fit to the circle then?

If you start a brand new drawing from one of the out-of-the-box metric-unit templates, and use a section callout tool from the Callouts palette, do the parts scale correctly then?

Both blocks should also be annotative, if current content is being used.
