remove redundant solid lines

I have a 3d solid made from multiple 3d solids with Union. Although all the faces are parallel there are extra lines on the faces which I would like to remove.

I would like to use solidedit and clean which should remove the lines. But when I do it, it just asks to select a body again and nothing happens. How can I remove the extra lines.

I have followed the autocad help for this problem but it does not work

In the attached i have marked 4 lines that are not required. The opening shown was for a door,  I then created a solid at the base of the door and used UNION to join them thus forming a window instead. I have another piece of software that is not liking the additional lines marked in red and tried the CLEAN command to get rid of them. this command does not do anything it seems

Q: are you not using AutoCAD ARCHITECTURE, the version of AutoCAD tat creates walls/doors and cuts in walls automatically (2D and 3D all at the same time)? This forum is not for any other software that happens to be in an AEC office.

So what software are you actually using? Post your DWG file please, lets have a look at your work.

I am using Autocad architecture which is why i used this forum as i am not stupid. I have had to modify existing designs from an architect hence the need to block up the doorway and many other edits to panels.

Not everyone is a seasoned expert which is why we use the forums so you would do well to keep this in mind when composing replies.

I am unable to post my drawing files as they are sensitive which anyone in business would understand

I will contact Autocad support directly to resolve my issue so this question is closed
