"FIND" command not working

Recently my 'find' command stopped working and I can't find any solutions to solve the issue.  I am running 2012 ACA on a windows 8.1 machine.  Whenever i try to run the command it doesn't do anything on the command line.

It would appear you are trying to say that your Find command pop-up is off screen: correct? Bring it back on screen with one of these methods https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Dialog...

Hello Dean and thanks for the rely.  The dialog box being off screen isn't the issue.  All of my other dialog boxes show up no problem.  This is more of the dialog box will not pop up at all when running the command.

So far I have tried:

using another cui to reset commands

Resetting cad to default settings

complete reinstall of AutoCAD

Log into your PC as an all new user with full admin controls: does your problem with FIND command go away?

I believe the dll was corrupt.  I copied the findtextres.dll from my computer at work and wrote over the one on my home computer.  It works again!!  Thank you for the help Dean.
