Not sure how long this has been happening, but I just noticed it.  Anyone know what it means and how I can fix it?  Emphasis on how to fix it.

This could be why it seems AutoCAD takes a little longer to start than it used to.

Does this happen when opening any file?  Does it happen if you start with a new drawing from an AutoCAD Architecture out-of-the-box template?

Do you have Civil 3D installed?  Do you have the Civil 3D Object Enabler installed?  If this is limited to only certain files, could they have been opened and saved in Civil 3D at some point in their life?

Looks like you are missing the Civil3D Obj3ct enabler for your ACA year version, not much else: help yourself

David, it would appear that the messages only pop up on the first template open when ACA first starts, not subsequent file opens or new file starts. I'll investigate the Civil 3D object enabler ideas further. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. At the present time, using ACA 2020. We were using 2022 for a while until an update broke the ability to import custom tool palettes from Content Browser. So we went back to 2020. There doesn't seem to be an object enabler on the autodesk web site for any versions of civil 3d/ACA other than 2022 and 2023. Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. The problem doesn't seem to be crippling, so maybe I'll just live with the bogus messages at start up. BTW, determining the appropriate object enabler from one autocad vertical to another has always been a bit of a mystery over the years.

Google Search's first link for me gave this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-civil...

Seems to be what you want.

Update.  Discovered that the Civil 3d 2020 object enabler had in fact been previously installed at some point - I think within the last 6 months or so.  Uninstalling it now seems to have gotten rid of the startup messages about missing the C3DPipeRules.xml rules file.  So, I guess all is good.  At least until I need to open up a file saved with Civil 3d.

Thanks for sharing your fix: I wonder if your file was last saved in a newer C3D version? maybe? I think I read somewhere that C3D adds quirks and some level of incompatibility with every new year's version.
