PDF not displaying any longer

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a complete drawing file that I closed and later reopened.  In between I have been doing some 3D drawing.  Somewhere along the line I must have turned off a function that controls whether or not my PDF images will display.  They do not show up in either layout or model space.  I know they are there because when I select over the area where they are at I see the grips that would be around the PDF frame.

I opened up another drawing where I have imported and inserted PDFs and they do not show up either.  Is there a command that controls where a pdf will display or not display in either model or paper space?

Start with the xref command.  Right click on the pdf file and choose reload.  There may be a status message that indicates the PDF file could not be found.  If so, navigate to the path where it was stored and save that path.

If that doesn't work, start the layer command and temporarily turn on and thaw all your layers.  If that doesn't work, undo once.

If that doesn't work, use the frame command and set it to 2.  Click on the frame and toggle the hide pdf button in the ribbon.

If none of those work, try unhide.
