Object Attributes/Meta Data

Hi everyone,

I have a question related to object attributes/meta data in AutoCAD Architecture.

Here are some information of what I am trying to achiev:

I have a model that contains different objects with attributes. This model should be exported in order to use the 3D model in a custom application. This application needs to visualize some objects, based on their attributes, in a certain way. 

Right now, I found some ways to export the attributes and know how to export the 3D model. The problem is that I don't know how to connect the attributes with the 3D model. This is because the attributes have the object handle id but the 3D model does not contain them after exporting and also the names are not unique in order to find the relationship.

Is there maybe a way to change the name of objects in AutoCAD via VBA or a different way? This way I could add the handle id to the object name and can connect the attributes and objects in my custom application.

If someone knows of plugins or other ways to achiev my goal, I would be happy to hear from you.

you can make manual property(custom name ) in the "prop. set .def." using automatic property from property you would like/Follow the steps on the picture

This gives you your unique name and automatic handle from prop set
