My laptop came with Nvidia GE Force 765... windows 8, Autocad Architecture 2016.
I have scoured forums (and have tried everything suggested for similar issues) to the flickering and flashing - it was doing the cursor trail, but that is solved...the flickering and flashing continues, it's intermittent - usually flashing/flicker with selections, even avoiding the selection of grips as if it were a reverse of the magnet.
I have tried hardware acceleration off and changed to the direct x9 convert from the 11.
I have been away from AutoCad for a few years, so forgive my technical ingnorance..
I haven't tried a clean install, and am a little leary, can't afford any down time, or a new graphics card...(I have a gaming laptop- and was running 2015 trial for a month with no problem -other than the cursor that was fixed with the directx9---
(I figured a good gaming laptop would easily handle AutoCad..should have done more homework!)
The Nvidia is set to update drivers automatically.
I pray to the AutoCad God to have mercy and provide a hotfix!:
