NKBA Title Block

Hi everyone!

I am a student studying Interior Design and I am currently in a Kitchen Design class. We are required to use the NKBA Title Block for all drawings. I ordered the title block from NKBA but they are moving offices and it could be weeks before any of us get our orders. Our instructor is aware of this, so I'm not worried about that. I do know how to download a PDF into my drawing, and I found a pdf online, but the file is way too large for what I need. Does anyone have an NKBA file they could share? I need it for an 11x17 Title Block. I am a registered student member of NKBA so please don't think I'm asking to use anything I shouldn't be.

Thanks so much!

Danielle

No one here can help you with purchases from anyone anywhere.
Ask your instructor for guidance and copies.

I wasn’t asking for purchases. I was asking how to import the title block into the drawing. I figured that part out.

I created a pdf and imported it and it’s either too large or too small, once in the drawing, and I don’t know how to adjust it.

I wasn’t asking anyone for purchases. I simply wanted people to know that I wasn’t looking for something I shouldn’t have.

And my instructor will not help us with importing the title block. That was one of the first things he said to us. Otherwise I’m sure he would’ve shown us.

Is the title block only available as a PDF?

Is the PDF a vector PDF?

If so, do this.

@redheadinthechi When importing PDFs, you need to know what scale the PDF is so you can adjust that accordingly.

OR just use STRETCH or SCALE or ALIGN commands to fix it after import: I am assuming you at least have a clue of what size it needs to be in the first place, do you not? Did your instructor not teach you all to sue STRETCH/SCALE/ALIGN commands? You can also explore all of these in HELP in the program.

Yes, I know what stretch, scale, etc are. But to answer your question - it is not this specific professors job to teach me those commands. That was the job of the professor that taught the original Autocad classes. I’m not sure why you’re being so snarky.

I legitimately asked a question about a pdf file.

I’ll make sure to post elsewhere if I have any additional questions.

Thanks

Sweet, so what's the challenge then?  You did ask here:

"...I created a pdf and imported it and it’s either too large or too small, once in the drawing, and I don’t know how to adjust it...."

And that is what I was responding to: so how did you get stuck if you know how to use those commands?

No one here is being "snarky", we are trying to guide you to help yourself, like your professor.
