You can use either:
SAVEAS command
or
DWGCONVERT command.

If you do not have a newer AutoCAD version, just 2017, you can grab the free viewer that also converts file here to do it yourself https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/dwg-trueview/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

both are explained in HELP: in case you don't know, AutoCAD2017 uses the 2013DWG file format (there is no such format as 2017dwg).

Hi pendean

Thanks for the reply. Actually someone gave me that dwg file. I cannot open it in 2017. The help document you sent seems not opening. Can you help me to convert the file so I can open that file in 2017

Thanks

Abhijit

I would download the DWGTrueView program so you can do this yourself.  but in the meantime attached are the dwgs saved to 2013

Thanks for quick response. Is it possible to convert that. I have no idea about autocad. I don't have laptop to convert. That's why I am asking to convert and attach it in post. It's a humble request. I am not from this background but I am posting behalf of someone. If you do it. It will be a great help. Thank you in advance
