Message acad.exe

I have a problem after I installed the AutoCAD Architecture 2016 and I try to open it gives me a message that my acad.exe file is not found. It all started because my husband uninstalled the AutoCAD 2016 but it shows its installed but no icon. So I tried downloading the Architecture version and

Welcome to the community!

 

At this point, you best approach is to do a full, clean uninstallation, and then try the installation from the beginning. This Autodesk Knowledge Network article has instructions for performing a clean uninstall.

Well, your husband shouldn't fiddle with stuff he knows nothing about.

As David suggest, total uninstall and clean reinstall should fix it.

Aw, give the guy a break.  That is how I learned 90% of what I know.  😉

 

(I should add, I do that on my computer, not my wife's.)
