Linetype scale changes to match zoom when working in a maximized viewport

I'm using AutoCAD 2015 and I really enjoy maximizing the viewport. It allows me to access aspects of my drawing that's currently outside the viewport as well as apply the viewport overrides everywhere else. The issue I'm having is that when I maximize it and zoom in or out, it changes the scale of all my linetypes. None of my variables—LTScale, PSLTScale, or MSLTScale—are anything but 1, so I wasn't sure if there was a fix for this.  This isn't an issue in my regular model space, paper space, or the minimized viewport.

I believe all you are seeing is the larger modelspace universe with your smaller viewportscale setting, nothing more. Annotative scales are locked from editing while you are in VPMAX.

Share your work, DWG file only please, and explain how someone can follow along to replicate it all if you believe your issue is different.

Apologies for the delay, that could be it but I wouldn't be entirely sure. I was just hoping for a way to stop it from changing, as shown in the video, because it just be a real nuisance when I feel there must be something to prevent it from doing that. Attached is the .dwg that I used for the video.

use REGENALL command to allow your PC/video card to catch up with your AutoCAD2015: it's not capable of doing so on its own.

Also check the following variables, you want all the default settings listed in HELP:
REGENAUTO (Command)
REGENMODE (System Variable)
RTREGENAUTO (System Variable)
and set LAYOUTREGENCTL (System Variable) to 1 or 0 (zero), not 2.

And share with us a screenshot of your GRAPHICSCONFIG (Command) pop-up please.

BTW, no issues with your file doing what you do in your video here in AutoCAD 2022-23-24 for me.
