Isometric view issue

Hi, i am having issues when going to isometric views, my drawings come up with double lines instead of just single, how do i change this setting as I do not want the added depth to appear.

 

Still learning and very rusty !

The screen shot is almost useless (rotated 90 degrees).  It appears to show two walls and something else.  Post a sample drawing. Are you using ACA or plain AutoCAD? What are you drawing? What do you expect it to look like?

 

ACA has a very comprehensive display configuration possiblities. ACA objects display differently when in plan vs model.

I am trying to make a mock up of cabinetry for my shed, it will be an L shape so my though was to draw both elevations separately so I could change each as needed the move both together when complete for visual reference of what it will look like when completed. I am using ACA 2020. When I am using line in view front everything is normal but when changing to isometric to add the depth of cabinetry ( side view is fine but I want to view it as it would sit in the corner ) I get these double lines after hitting enter, it is as if it is automatically adding the depth of timber being used although I do not want that. I have tried breaking it at points but that just deletes the entire line or rather rectangular piece. 

 

The front view is what the face of the shelving will be, the next photo is when changing to isometric what I see, the third is a closer look at what appears.

You're thinking 2D.  While it is is possible to take the front view and create the start of an isometric from it, it is very complicated. For example,  set the view to a SE isometric and use flatten, set the ucs to view, copyclip the flattened geometry, change back to world ucs, paste to create the 2d isometric of that view, scale the view to be measurable, and then add other linework. Another way is just to draw the isometric view the old way (snap style isometric). The best way, however, is to create the 3d geometry using 3d solids and then use flatshot or viewbase to view the 3d objects from various points of view (if you require axonometric and perspective pictorials). Otherwise a set of 2d drawings is fine (plan, elevation, section).

ACA has 3D versions of many cabinets. There are also BIM versions of AWI cabinets available for download.
