How to use Blockattributes in MV-Blocks

Hey Folks!

I hope to find some answers here in this forum. I have some troubles with creating a MV-Block.

Basically, I want to create an Elevation Label as a MV-Block. The idea is, that the MV-Block should label the Y-Position of the InsertionPoint of the MV-Block.

So, I created a block with an expression that should evaluate the Y-Coordinate of the Insdertion Point of the block. Actually, it works with the block, but when I set it for the MV-Block, it doesn’t label the Y-coordinate. It only says “InsertionPoint”!

I also had the idea to define a property set for this MV-Block, so it labels its on property, but it doesn’t still work ( like for a Room-Tag).

Do you intend for this notation block to be viewed from many "3d" views?

Before designing your own, use the content browser to examine the OOTB documentation content.  See if any of the elevation tags meet your needs.  ACA does not really support attributes in Mvblocks without using property sets.  What you are probably trying to create is called a tag rather than an mvblock.  Use the create tag command on the scheduling panel flyout of the annotate ribbon tab.  Before creating the tag, read about the process to understand how tags are scaled.  You will probably need to add a property set and include at least a locationy automatic property.
