Hatch Command - Add:Pick Points

Very slight issue here, and I'm guessing it's my own fault, but I thought I would see if anyone has had the same problem or if there is an easy solution.  The issue is when I'm editing a pre-existing hatch, if I go into the hatch editor and click on the Add:Pick Points button to add another area the window will close for an instant, and then pop right back up without actually letting me pick new areas to hatch.

Using the Add:Select Areas works just fine.

It should be noted that I have edited the CUI to pop up the old Hatch Edit window, and to not switch the ribbon - that's where I'm guessing it's my fault.  It's just a little odd that everything except that one button in that one condition works just fine.

Running ACAD Architecture 2020 with the latest updates installed.

Any thoughts are appreciated!  Thanks,

Jason

Dumb question: have to restarted your PC yet?

Is the problem in one file, or all files?

Yeah.  This is a persistent problem - it's been going on for months (maybe since I installed 2020?).  Just finally got around to seeing if anyone had any suggestions or was having the same issue.

Maybe I'm not able to reproduce your exact issue, but I'm not seeing it here. Can you share an example?

Pendean -

I put together a quick screencast, but there's nothing to really show beyond what I had described.  The issue is when I have an existing hatch and would like to add an area using the pick points method.  When I click on the button, the window disappears for a second and then pops back up without letting me do anything.

Let me know if the screencast helps explain the issue.

Thanks,

Jason

I suspect you have some errant customization going on.  Post your cui or lisp code.  The ribbon, BTW, works beautifully for 90% of the operations and has a button for the hatchedit dialog for the other 10%.

Before you do much more, you should probably do a repair install before you do another screencast.

Sorry, first time trying the screencast app...  however, when I watch it I can see the command line and status bar (just have to click the fullscreen button on the screencast)?

Included is an export of my current CUI - hopefully I exported all of the pertinent data.  I don't think I've got any LISPs running currenty.

It may just be from previous versions of Acad, but ribbon switching was always a serious time killer for us, so we've tried to eliminate that as much as possible.  It was often very slow to switch, and often made the ribbon jump around (the text editor was the worst).

It's not a huge deal - definitely not worth resetting Autocad back to factory settings to try to fix it.  Just a minor annoyance, and I thought other people may have had similar issues.

Sorry - for some reason I couldn't attach the CUI file.  Here is a link to the file:
