Ghost ole object displays when placing callout in ACA

I have an issue which seems to be only file specific.

when inserting a callout within a title block (dynamic block I created), the title references an unknown OLE object. when I hover before placing the callout the ghost ole object shows up. it only occurs in this one file. other files have the same block and the problem does not occur there. it happens in paper space and also in the block editor.

I have audited and purged the file numerous times.

see screenshot attached. any ideas / solutions?

Hi @WLAjem57

Thanks for posting in the community!

I see that you have already attempted to clean up your file, which is a great first step, however, it is a little difficult to see what is specifically happening in your screenshot. Would you be comfortable sharing your file in order for me to take a look at it further?

In the meantime, there is an article that is available that goes through other steps to Repair Corrupt Files that you might want to take a look at and see if any of those work for you.

Hi @Tiana_Y

the red box shown and circle at the bottom left is what comes up when I hover over the block.

I am attaching the file. hopefully it will occur with you as well.

just FYI it's not preventing me from working on the file. it doesn't cause the file to crash, it's just an odd occurrence.

If you look at the Command:View there's a layout view called OLE1 which can be deleted. Is that the object?

The red outline and circle/line looks like the preview for a project view being dropped onto a project sheet if the setting "Options>AEC Project Defaults>Show detailed preview when dropping view on sheet" is turned off. It isn't a fault as such, just the outline of that layout view from some previous insertion being displayed triggered by the new command i suspect.
