Fillet acting odd - Requiring multiple selections of first object

Fillet is acting strange, and I'm having a hard time figuring out why.

When starting the Fillet command (like in photo 1), it'll give the usual response: "Select first object or [Undo Polyline Radius Trim Multiple]:"

But when I select the first object to fillet (photo 2), it just lists the coordinates, and I have to click the same object again (photo 3) to initiate the fillet. The same thing happens when using Fillet - Multiple.

The even stranger part is this only happens when starting a fresh fillet command, but not when using spacebar to re-initiate fillet a second time or so.

Could this be a variable or some other issue I'm not seeing?

Are you just drawing lines for walls?
Are you using AutoCAD ARCHITECTURE, or plain AutoCAD (you're in the wrong forum for the latter)?

Are you clicking on a button to launch FILLET command?
If ye, do other commands like MOVE or COPY behave the same way if you click on a button to launch them?

I am using AutoCAD Architecture 2014, and I'm using the key command for Fillet. It doesn't do that when using key commands for any other function.

Is this a problem in ALL files with ALL walls, or just this file or just these walls?
Which profile as you running "as autocad" or the "architecture" profile?

Yes, it happens in all files with all linework.

I'm using the AutoCAD Architecture (US Imperial) profile.

Can you post a sample DWG file and point to two walls you are trying to use a fillet with?

It wasn't specific walls, it was just single lines causing the issues.

But now it only seems to happen randomly, instead of every time like before.
