Editing the wall display color in AutoCAD Architecture

Hello everyone, all my walls are in the "a-wall" layer, i'm using several styles 6' stud, 8' stud, etc. since they are quite similar in width, I would like to be able to diferenciate them quickly at a glance on the drawing by having them in diferent colors, is there a way i can do this? perhaps change the interior hatch color? since they all now look pretty much the same because of the layer color.

thanks!

You can assign custom colors to any object(s) you want, go ahead and try it, see what works for you.

thanks for your answer, my question is really how to do this on parametric walls, because for any other object like a line it is very straight forward.

if you need precise colour for every style just use different material for shrink wrap and different colour of plan linework. In display prop. just  change by material5556.JPG

Thank you Brian Adams.

-Select wall type in drawing

-Right click menu - Edit wall style

To change outside line(s)

-Display properties tab - "Plan" display representation - check the style override checkbox

-Shrinkwrap - change the color

To change anything that has the "by material" box (hatches mostly) checked in the override window, switch to the materials tab in the wall styles properties window.

-Double click the material

-Double click General medium detail

-Change item color - ("plan hatch" usually)

I hope this can save someone 4 hours of turmoil.
