Hi fellas!

How do I stop the walls from joining in the middle of each other? (without changing location lines for all walls)
I would like all the walls to join at the inside or outside of the wall it intersects.

Have you tried changing the justification line of the abutting walls?  You might also try adjusting component priorities or controlling whether or not cleanup is done by using different cleanup groups.

I have to admit that AutoCAD really isn't my cup of tea. I'm used to Revit.
Can you post some screenshots or a short clip for the settings?

I've tried cleanup groups but can't seem to get the desired results.
Changing the justification also changes the location of all the walls, right?

No. You can decide whether to change the location while changing the justification or not.  Sorry, I don't have time right now to create screencasts. If no one chimes in, I'll try to respond in a more detailed manner later.  Both Revit and ACA have their strengths. It really helps to have a project just to play around with and to allot some learning time.

Why don't you post your DWG file, or a portion of it, let us all have a look at your wall objects.

From the image, it looks like you have different cleanup groups assigned to the two Walls, so they are not cleaning up.  Either that, or you have disabled automatic wall cleanup.  As @pendean noted, posting a sample file with the problem condition will enable us to look at what you have done and improve the odds of getting a solution.

I've attached a sample with some of the walls now (cleaned from the rest). If you find the solution please leave a quick step-by-step guide, would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

The IVIB-BEF_(Existing) Wall Style instance (no fill) is in the None Load-bearing_(Existing) Wall Cleanup Group.  The Innervägg Ny Ombyggnad Wall Style instances (gray fill) are in the Icke bärande Wall Cleanup Group.  There will not be any Wall Cleanup between the IVIB-Bef_(Existing) Wall and the other Walls because of this.

The IVIB-Bef_(Existing) Wall Style has one component, with a priority of 700; the Innervägg Ny Ombyggnad Wall Style has one component, with a priority of 1.  The Innervägg Ny Ombyggnad Walls will take precedence over the IVIB-Bef_(Existing) Wall due to the lower priority.  To avoid having the IVIB-Bef_(Existing) Wall cut by the other Walls, you will need to arrange the Wall Justifications so that the Innervägg Ny Ombyggnad Walls are not pulled over the IVIB-Bef_(Existing) Wall.  Two possibilities for the Walls in your file are shown below (and in the attached, modified file).

 

Or, you can adjust the endpoints of the Walls, such that Walls of different styles do not overlap.  (Sometimes that is necessary even when adjusting the Wall Justification lines, as seen in the image immediately above.)

It feels weird even asking such a basic question...
But all I want to do is make the wall attach to the edges instead of the middle of the wall. Here's when I try and the wall won't find the snap. Doesn't have to be an automatic wall cleanup, there's not that many walls.

You have object snap set to work only on the Wall Justification line.  To allow snapping to other parts of Walls, open the Drafting Settings dialog (DSETTINGS command, or use the popup menu from the right side of the Object Snap tool split button on the Status Bar as shown in the image below)  and, on the Object Snap tab, clear the check mark from the Allow general object snap settings to act upon wall justification line toggle.

If you still have problems after clearing the object snap toggle, you may want to temporarily adjust the Wall Settings on the AEC Object Settings tab of the Options dialog (upper left corner).  While Autosnapping to the Justification Line when drawing new Walls and grip editing Walls is usually a good thing, in this case you are trying to avoid that.  You may be able to simply reduce the Autosnap Radius to be less than half the width of your Walls, if the justification will remain Center (or Baseline, with the Baseline in the middle of the Wall).
