Door Schedule not showing any doors

I used to be good at AutoCAD Architecture. But, have not used it in a few years. I am working on a small two story alteration and we have a handful of doors that are new. I have tagged them, on the View Xref. the Construct is showing the data sets attached to the doors. However, when I go to create the schedule and I select the Xref, I get nothing in the schedule - just the headers.

What am I missing here?

Have you selected the schedule and, in the properties palette, selected "yes" to schedule external drawing?

Yes. I figured out the problem - well, it was a combination of problems. First, i copied a door schedule from an ancient project from 2008 or so. So, when I created a schedule from the tool palette, it scheduled the items...must have been something with the original table (classifications I am thinking)

Second, I did not create a view with ALL the xref's required for the table. So, I got the table to work afterwards...

BUT...

I forgot how to create parameters to schedule only new doors. I think it was something to do with CLASSIFICATIONS (again)...I will remember...I hope...

If you use the renovation mode, it automatically assigns doors to existing or new styles.  Just add a phase classification that applies to doors with at least a "new" classification and then select that classification for the new door styles.  Then select the classification as a filter in your schedule.

Renovation Mode...I used it a few times. Is very clunky. I have set up New, Existing and Demolition tools prior to when Renovation Mode was introduced. I have not gone through the newer renditions of Renovation Mode to really see if it has gotten better than the first few releases. But, I have figured out the issue with my door schedules being a Classification issue. so i am all set.
