Disappearing open drawing browser box

I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden when I try to open an existing drawing it no longer pops up a box to browse, it asks me in my command bar at the bottom to type in the name of the drawing. The same thing happens when I try to "save as" a drawing... Anyone know how to get this back to normal?

I figured it out... type FILEDIA in your command bar... it should say it is set at zero... type in '1' and it should bring back the open command, select file dialog box.
