Different hatches between model & layout

Hi fellas!

Quick question, how do I accomplish the same look between the model and layout hatches?
Right now the 'new wall's have different hatches depending on the view.

The model look (first picture) is the correct one for us and should be used.
The file is inserted as a xref into the other file (picture 2)

Model, file 1Model, file 1

Layout, file 2Layout, file 2

Do both files have the same Display Configurations**?  Is the same Display Configuration that is used in the Model Space of the source file also used in the viewport in the Layout of the sheet file?

** - By "the same" I mean not only the name, but all of the same settings (same Display Representation Set assigned to the same view direction, and the same settings for each active object Display Representation.

Well, to be honest I don't know. AutoCAD Arch. really isn't my thing, I'm more used to Revit.
Could you post a quick walkthrough for making them have the same display configurations?
Would help out alot.
