Diameter symbol changes font

The standard text style in our office is Arial. When entering %%c to enter the diameter symbol, the font changes to ISOCPEUR for the diameter symbol and the following text. The text cannot be changed back to Arial, and actually calls itself Arial when highlighted, although it clearly is not. If I just move the cursor through the text, the font box with change between Arial and ISOCPEUR. However, I can insert a special character by going to Symbol/Other and then copying the diameter symbol within the character map, under Arial, and there aren't any issues. It seems like the %%c command is mapped to some other font for some reason.

Other people in the office don't have the same problem, even when opening the same file. Also, I have had this problem with two separate computers. It must be something that is being migrated in my custom settings.

Suggestions? Is there a way to remap this?

Hi Matt,

If this issue is only happening to you (on two different workstations), and no other users in your department then it may well be a problem with your custom settings.
You have a couple of options for testing:
Reset AutoCAD Architecture to its default settings and see if the problem occurs. When resetting you can save your customization and import them after the test.

Another option would be to log into your workstation using a new Windows account with administrative privileges.

Try one of these tests and let us know if the problem still occurs.

Cheers,
Volker

Hi Matt,

I wanted to check back to see how things were going? Were you able to try the reset or alternate Windows profile to see if the issue persisted?

Cheers,

Volker
